Turn Messy Thoughts Into Prompts That Actually Work

Stop staring at an empty chat box. The Brain Dump to Super Prompt method takes what is already in your head, gives it structure, and adds the constraints that make AI answer like a specialist instead of a search engine.

  • Three steps: dump, structure, constrain. Under ten minutes per prompt.
  • Worked examples for business, content, sales and coaching.
  • A fill-in template you can reuse for every task.

The method

Brain Dump to Super Prompt, in three steps

Weak prompts fail because they skip the context that lives in your head. The method pulls that context out first, then shapes it. The AI does the writing. You do the thinking you were already doing.

01

Dump

Write everything you know about the task in plain sentences. Who it is for, what you tried, what a good result looks like, what you want to avoid. Messy is fine. Two minutes, no editing.

02

Structure

Sort the dump into five labeled lines: Role, Goal, Audience, Context, Output. Each line is one sentence. Anything that does not fit a label gets cut.

03

Constrain

Add three limits: length, format and one thing the AI must not do. Constraints are what turn a generic answer into a usable one.

Worked example: a coach writing a welcome email

Dump: New clients feel lost in week one. I want a short welcome email. I coach busy managers. They hate fluff. They should book their first call and fill in a short intake form.

Structure:
Role: You are an executive coach who writes short, warm emails.
Goal: Write a welcome email that gets a new client to book a call and complete the intake form.
Audience: Busy managers who dislike filler.
Context: They signed up today and have not met me yet.
Output: One email with a subject line.

Constrain: Under 150 words. Two clear action links. Do not use the word "journey."
